![]() ![]() ![]() There seems to be some kind of race condition where if an empty folder is created first in either of the two Start Menu directories, BEFORE contents are added to it, which would be icons and shortcuts, then StartAllBack fails to display it in the Start Menu. You should in fact see that although StartAllBack does not list the folder (or root program icon) in your Start Menu, the folders are present in the above two Start Menu directories I mentioned earlier above. I mention the two above folders because this is where you need to look for your missing installed programs. They will still display on your Start Menu if they are in either location. This though doesn't matter or affect how StartAllBack displays newly added programs. The above locations depend on whether or not the installer is installing the application for ALL USERS or just the current user. ![]() I have that problem too, but it is relatively easy to fix for each missing entry.Īll Start Menu programs get installed to one of two directories:Ĭ:\Users\takeahike\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start MenuĬ:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu ![]()
